Today I’m featured as a guest baker on Frosting For The Cause. I’ve shared my recipe for Fancy Linzer Cookies. Frosting For The Cause is an awesome project with some hefty goals. The project started on January 1, 2011 with the aim to raise awareness and money for Women’s Cancer. Bloggers from across the United States and Canada have joined up to share recipes and their own personal stories of how their lives have been touched by cancer. I shared a story about my little sister Beth. Please check it out. Thanks!

The cookies were delicious and everyone at the clinic loved them! Thanks, Honey!
Thank you!!!
What an amazing way to give to a great cause!
I was thinking the same thing! Very unique.
Wow, Sara. You weren’t kidding when you said our stories were so similar. Loved your post. What a nice tribute to Beth. I’m sure she would have loved to eat such a pretty cookie while dressed in her finest dress up clothes. Reading you story made me think that my sister would have enjoyed them, as well. She was very girly, and refused to wear pants. Only skirts. Thanks for bringing those fond memories to mind.
Thank you Kirsten…for your kind words and for inspiring me to participate in “Frosting For The Cause.” Thank you!
